You know what's hilarious about that ''Men are pigs'' song? No, not the bad translation. It's sung by MEN. Can you believe it? That's why it sounds sort of ironic. You know a men's view on how woman go exaggerating about them. The main lyrics are normal male voices, but the two lined verses (soon it will be dark, soon it will be night, the King Kong one, etc...) were sung with fake women's voices. Funny!!!
The ''Welcome to my life'' song by Constipated People, sorry I mean Simple Plan sounds ironic (or whatever the correct word should be), because it describes the feeling of a lot of people. It sort of saying there are so many people who feel alone that they don't see that there are others who feel alone as well. They are too selfish to realize that they aren't the only ones. There's nothing special about them. Get ma meaning? If people would not be so locked up in there loneliness, they might be able to form a group and help each other. The song borders on the absurd (the movement). It insults you to some extent... It's descriptive. The thing is that it applies to too many people for it to be real if that makes any sense? It goes on saying how alone YOU feel and yet there are so many people who feel the same way. Don't really know how to explain it... It's an idea at the tip of my tongue or in this case fingertips, but is afraid to jump and express itself...
