700 posts! This one is about England!

Went to England for 6 days. 4 of those were uni days. Went to The Outlet and Meadowhall. On Sunday had the customary lunch at the Golf Club.

Bessacarr Golf Club. Looks warm but it wasn't.

Went to York on Tuesday. Takes 20 - 30 minutes by train from Donny. No idea what this river is called...

Ruin thingy in York. They're famous, but I once again don't know their name...

The chalet has been re-roofed.

The bad thing though about Granny and Grandpa's house in winter is that it's bloody cold. The living room and kitchen are warm enough, but since there is no radiator in the bathroom it's not too practical for taking baths.

Had a mission in England: find shot glasses with Donny on them for S. So went to the Doncaster Tourist Information Centre and they said they didn't make them anymore, but that they could be ordered. Too bad it would take 2 - 3 weeks though. If I hadn't been such an airhead I would have remembered that your mother could have picked them up for me... So they sent me to the Doncaster Press thingy, but they said I should go to the Tourist information Centre. Needless to say that I didn't find any. Bought some in York.

LONG LONG LONG LONG time no update... Anyway, what can I say? Hmmm... Not a lot really.

Schmusie's adopted us as her sleeping quarters. She's spending more and more time in our humble abode.

The PC's Hard Disc died and the last back-up was done in March. Turned out the one in June didn't work... Had to reinstall the whole Windows XP OS + Drives system on it again. Took about 3 days, well not FULL days, maybe 3-6 hours a day. A few photos and films are gone, but luckily most stuff was on the Mac... At least now there are 2 HDs in the PC. A master and a slave, so can do internal back-ups onto the slave, which is 160 GB. The Master is 250. Next time gonna buy a desktop Mac, which can have both OSs oh it! Should be better! Anyhow, got SP2, but hate how it regroups the stuff in the Start menu! It's annoying! Can't it leave the er... tab thingies separated?? Also got stupid microcrash now, which means it regularly restarts the comp. It does ask you, but you've only got 5 min to say "Restart Later" and if you miss it, you come back to find your computer restarting and the stuff you were working on ERADICATED!!! So much for newer stuff being BETTER. I beg to differ. With Bill Gates things go from bad to worse... Someone should sue Bill Gates!!

Nothing like a 41 hour day (yes day) to really loose track ot time! Couldn't sleep yesterday eirther, so to re-cap: 0+7+2= 9; 9/3=3 hours of sleep a night in average. It's "nutifying". Gonna go 100% mental. Not far off it, should be about 90% crazy now.

Going to England next week on Thursday!!! So yay for that. Gonna miss some uni though, but oh well. Not as though I hadn't done it before anyway... It's only 7 days, 2 of which are weekend and the day we leave I'm going, so in fact only miss 4 days. Too bad Robin Hood airport is't open yet, it's like 7 min from grandparents house!
