England. England! What can be said about England? It's an over-populated (mostly by morons or Peasants as Grandpa and most of the Hancocks would say) island with terrible weather (even worse this year than previous years) made worse by global warming and pollution. It seems as though the UK were situated under a permanent Low Pressure area.
Doncaster: city with mostly shady areas and some nice countryside.
Bessacarr: a mostly none-shady part of Doncaster, but it depends were you go...
Warning to anyone who wants to visit Donny (at night): don't turn right down Thorne Road and whatever you do, don't go down Market Road!!! Don't park in Christ Church Road at night unless you want unsolicited "passengers". Stay away from the dodgy area behind the market.
What is there to do in Donny: Visit The Dome, there's a swimming pool in it (if I remember correctly), sometimes stage productions / concerts and possibly a cinema. There's a paintball place, archery, rock climbing (in The Dome) and how the heck should I know?! Look under http://www.visitdoncaster.co.uk/ or something!

The trip back: took quite some time. Left at 03:05 AM and arrived here at 18:32, so 14 hrs 27 (because it's an hour later here, so you loose 1 hr when you take the ferry from the UK to France.) Stopped about 5 times. The traffic was OK, so basically just sailed through.
Had a series of bizarre dreams: Dreamt that Dit (ex-youth worker) and some other people from church were going to go on a boat trip on the Camargue. Anyway D had decided to take his "new" girlfriend, instead of Ted (guy who goes to church, organizes stuff for kids including the boat trip and well erm... can be a bit... sarcastic in real life as well as in the dream). That broke Ted's heart and everyone was going on about how bad D had behaved. It was quite funny actually... Well at least sort of. Can't really remember the others. They were too weird and I was woken before I could "fixate" them ie go through them again as to remember them later.

For Rhubarb + Raspberry: It was annoying that we only spend two bloody days together! You better have had a blast in Portsmouth! 'Cos it was no walk in the park being in Bessacarr. You didn't see the new LCD TV or the HD/DVD reader/writer so I'll post the photo once I've got them on here from the camera. It was a screwed up summer (in fact year). It was cold, raining, areas were flooded, Grandpa still won't accept Social Services in from a private company called "Poppies". Granny in the mean time still goes and takes stuff surreptitiously out of the pantry.
Anyway went out with Peter, Ruth and Ben the last day. It was good, but really LOUD and crowded.

Home: found 3 dead bats in the house. One was on the stairs, one in the bath and the last one was attached to the curtains. In fact I found another one by the fireplace, but haven't buried it yet. So in fact there were FOUR dead bats in here. How the heck they got in here, is anyone's guess... The fireplace is sealed, so no they didn't come from there. It's bloody hot here. Supposed to turn bad Tuesday though...

Nice meeting you and maybe slightly better timing would help.
